A Nation wide digital initiative to connect the donor who wants to support with food / relief with the deprived / vulnerable families who need food through #AnnapurnaVolunteers present at every rural Panchayats and Wards of the urban cities.

Humanity: Human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found. The purpose of humanitarian action is to protect life and health and ensure respect for human beings.
Neutrality: Humanitarian actors must not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.
Impartiality: Humanitarian action must be carried out on the basis of need alone, giving priority to the most urgent cases of distress and making no distinctions on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religious belief, class or political opinions.
Independence: Humanitarian action must be autonomous from the political, economic, military or other objectives that any actor may hold with regard to areas where humanitarian action is being implemented.

About Us

The Digital Relief Distribution #Annapurna helps the family to meet the needs with dignity in the shortest possible time with the available resources.
Annapurna Volunteer is a local volunteer who will be the designated volunteers to raise and approve the concerns or requests from their respective area during disaster or in case of any emergency situations.

Role of Annapurna Volunteers (AV)
1- The AV has to represent from the current leaving Panachayat / Ward
2- Must have a smart phone and whatsapp
3- Must be able to read and write English
4- Should be able to contribute 2 human hours per week for volunteering
5- Willing to work in an honorary mode with full responsibility
6- Should be able to document and take photographs for immediate information sharing
7- Should be able to coordinate with the local authorities for any immediate needs of food / relief
8- Should able to help in communication and fundraising
9- Should respect the Humanitarian Principles while taking decisions

#DelhiAgainstMalnutrition

To fulfill our endeavour of #DelhiAgainstMalnutrition, with support from Tech Mahindra Foundation and DCPCR, IVN distributed Nutritional supplements and Hygiene kit to 300 children families of Prem Nagar and Lal Kuan Chungi no 2.5 area of South East Delhi. They were also taught on safety precautions for CoVID, demonstrating on washing techniques.
